
Here is the latest Designs by Davis remodel. The customer felt a little claustrophobic in their home sweet home and were convinced the only solution to make it more spacious was to add on. Yet with current lumber prices, that was not an ideal solution. After proposing a few different designs, the customer loved the idea of knocking out the wall between the kitchen and living room, giving the house an open atmosphere. The concrete countertop peninsula created an airy feeling, while providing a nice division between the two rooms. As a bonus…Tim was not only able to work with the existing cabinets to keep the remodel within budget, but also was able to transform the built-in china buffet into a popular coffee station.
